Who we are
August Arc, LLC operates augustarc.com. This page explains what information the site collects, how it is used and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Analytics. The site uses Google Analytics to understand how it is used. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology to record information such as the pages you view, how you arrived, your browser and device type, and your approximate location at the city or region level. We use this in aggregate and do not use it to identify you.
- Email. If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you include in your message. We use it to reply and to continue the conversation you started.
- Hosting. Our hosting provider, Netlify, processes standard technical information such as IP addresses when it delivers the site, for security and reliability.
The site has no forms, accounts or advertising.
What we don't do
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
Google Analytics
Google processes analytics data under the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings. Emails are kept as long as needed for the relationship or as required by law.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, including California, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you and to ask us to correct or delete it. Email info@augustarc.com and we will respond.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
